The Our Views, Our Voices initiative is delighted to announce its new Global Advisory Committee for the April 2022 to December 2023 tenure.

The Our Views, Our Voices initiative is delighted to announce its new Global Advisory Committee for the April 2022 to December 2023 tenure. Our 15 Advisory Committee members were elected from various regions of the world, each one bringing unique knowledge and insights based on their lived experiences with NCDs, as care partners, and as civil society advocates. They will use their combined expertise to address and amplify the needs, challenges and recommendations of people living with NCDs.

The Advisory Committee plays a key role in providing overall direction to the Our Views, Our Voices initiative, and helps to ensure that the voices of people living with NCDs are integrated into the work of the NCD Alliance. They also work to address the specific needs and challenges of people living with NCDs, including in efforts towards resilience, recovery, and future pandemic preparedness.

Along with advising on activities and opportunities within Our Views, Our Voices, the Advisory Committee for 2022-23 will be working to increase the meaningful involvement of people living with NCDs at global, regional, and national levels. They are also closely involved with national and regional NCD alliances and NCDA members, bringing their unique local perspectives and reinforcing the vibrancy of the NCD community.
